Fingers and Doors

Never a dull moment here! Jeremiah pinched his finger in the bathroom door this morning and, when I couldn't get him to straighten it out after an icepack, we were off to the walk-in clinic. It's not broken, but pretty gross nonetheless. It's chewed up and bruised and his nail will definitely fall off at some point. They gobbed it up with antibiotic ointment and put it in a splint. Today was not the best of days for my son.My son is an aspie. We all know that many children do not understand aspie's, and that things they do not understand usually cause fear. I've been overwhelmed.

About a year ago Christopher was diagnosed with Asperger's; we moved to a new home and over the summer made friends with my ex and the girl over whom he left me.
