Hi Steve. I'm new to the site, so I don't have much posted about myself and my situation. I noticed your avatar with Popeye and thought you must be pretty cool~ I LOVE Popeye, and my teens TEASE me about it! LOL Anyway, I'm a parent of a 17 year old that was only diagnosed a year ago. I look forward to being on the site and would like to be friends~

Steve I noticed you said your sons work was sloppy at school. Tristan's handwriting is the pits. I read online once, that Aspergians {like that word, I read it in a newspaper article the other day LOL I am " middle of the road" with that term , one second I think it sounds cool, and the next I think it sounds like they are referring to a different species. I should ask Tristan if he approves before I actually use it LOL} anyways, back to the point. I read online people with Aspergers usaully have poor handwriting. Tristan's fourth grade teacher kept marking things wrong on him, and drawing unhappy faces on his paper with the statments "THIS IS TOO SLOPPY". I copied that whole article for her that confirmed Aspergers people have poor handwriting, and told her to back off. She thought I was being a crutch for him, but I do not care his academics blew her whole entire class out of the water. {you probably know what I mean by that, Asperger people are some of the most intelligent people in the world I bet your son has high academics as well.} I wanted the nit picking to stop with her, she was totally bringing him down. I wanted you to know, I think sloppy work comes with the condition, and I would not be to concerned with that, if everything is going smooth in other areas.

My wife adn I are huge Goji supporters. Try the 100% Goji for yourself (not the store brand "mixed" juice), as it has helped our boy tremendously!
