ANOTHER THANKSGIVING.......THANKS---GIVING DAY

Another Thanksgiving Day has come and yet gone with the same Thanks I have all year long. I thank God for giving zach to me. He as with all of our aspies has gave us such a blessing to be blessed with such special kids.

On Wednesday, I start with making 5 Pumpkin Pie's, 2 Chocolate Pie's, Mac. Salad, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Cherry Delight, 3 Gallon's of Tea, Deviled Eggs and Glazed Ham that cooks all night long. Zach, determined to help, decided he would like to try some of the Holiday fixins.… Continue

THINKING IN PICTURES.......A LITTLE INSIGHT

Thought I would share this little bit of information to maybe help some get a better understanding
of the term....thinking in pictures..... Zach was 9 1/2yrs old. (3yrs.ago) when Jim (pappydad) was
diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. As we left the Dr.s office we decided to let Zach be a part of

YEAH!!!! APPLES, GRAPES, WHAT NEXT????

I am the happiest mom around right now. I have tried to get zach to add fruit to his diet, would not, could not
tolerate it. This has been since the 6 shots (vaccinations) at kindergarden. He developed the texture issue's
with food and his eating habits changed to the worse. We would keep trying to get him to eat veg. and fruits
and he would not have anything to do with it. BUT,BUT,BUT, 2 years later and several bottles of the drops

OH MOM!!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, YOU SAVED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are the words I heard when I told Zach he didn't have to go back to
Public School. He had such an awful experience AGAIN!!!! Poor thing he
just wanted to be a part of middle school. Starting with the 1st. week of
school he was stabbed in the arm with a pencil by a student in Tech Lab.
Anything done about it NO!!! Every day when I picked him up he was always
saying how his teacher is always yelling. 2nd week Had to take him to the Dr.
because his Tourette's got so bad with his head jerking… Continue

She is finishing her classes and has drive now to complete her school work. Her emotions are up and all over the place but she is doing well. Growing up so fast. She is learning more and more. She doesnt shut down as much as she used tool. She is funny and has a plesant personality. She is doing school online and likes her classes. We are all well. Have a good evening. Now well see how it goes. This summer has just flown by so fast for us. I wonder how much damage the melatonin can do on her system because if i dont give it toher she does not sleep and stays up all night. Acouple of times she told me she was tired and then didnt go to bed she got her second wind and then stayed up all night How is Zack doing?

He was so excited when he got his little medal. Then he came home and said he wants A honours next year. It may kill me, but we will try. The kids are now swimming and bike riding everyday..lol...and trying to avoid the weeding I keep nagging them about. Hope all is well with you...

At 11:02pm on April 6, 2009, Peggy said…: She wants to go back to school but it was not a good experience for her and she wants to give up now and not continue. We have a horrible week when my parents came that I am giving her a rest. Get back to normal. We took her off her meds because it was messing up her stomach . The only thing she is taking is melatonin to help her sleep. It doesnt always work. We are scheduled to see her pediatrician and to figure out what to do next. She does not want to get into the car, she gets car sick . So we have been staying at home and walking dogs and doing things in the neighborhood. She loves to skateboard. It has been snowing lately. the next two days will be nice so she will skateboard.
