Celebrated Calvin's 9th birthday this weekend, it was great.
Lots of laughs and some smiles.
Busy summer for Calvin, the more he keeps busy the less he is anxious.
What we do for our children.

over the summer...we will be reading every day (hopefully)....some spelling and some math...I am constantly on the lookout for fun ways or easy rewards for doing the work...Sarah is going to Nova Scotia with my mom for a week...it will either be totally awesome or a terrible disaster...otea and fingers crossed...we've never been apart for more than a day or two...I'm going to miss her so...hopefully we'll get the painting done and new floor installed downstairs in my mom's apt while they're gone....and just maybe a whole day to relax by the pool...LOL

hey suzanne - can you not get coverage for your meds? i know that all of those drugs in that class are hideously expensive. but just curious what ohip's coverage is on that? we had to get something called "eds exception" for gabe from our ped for the manitoba plan to cover it. might be worth checking in to. and yes if you are getting an opportunity for school go for it! you aspies are all so gifted and amazing, so you might as well work it girl! way to go!

Hi there,

I am in Toronto and currently debating whether I should go to a graduate student through the Ontario Aspergers Society.
It's a women and I find I play up with women and it ends up like a Mexican Showdown!!
Having said that I am grateful for the offer because we can't afford to pay for anything else at this time.
I suppose I have just talked myself into making the call!
I am not medicated anymore but damn I miss the Adderall XR. But at $8.50 a day I think I will just grin and bear it.
Have a great day.
